Cookie Policy
Effective: April 1, 2026 · Applies to: securisky.dev and all subdomains
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. This policy explains what we use, why, and how you can control it.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential Cookies (Always Active)
These are required for the service to function. You cannot opt out of these without disabling the service itself.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Securisky | Authenticated session management | Session |
| cc_cookie | Securisky | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 6 months |
| _firebase_* | Google Firebase | Authentication token persistence | 1 year |
2.2 Analytics Cookies (Consent Required)
These are only set after you give consent. They help us understand how the product is used so we can improve it. No personally identifiable information is stored.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_* | PostHog | Anonymous product analytics — page views, feature usage | 1 year |
| ph_opt_* | PostHog | PostHog opt-in/opt-out preference | 1 year |
3. Third-Party Cookies
We do not serve advertising and do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and Paddle, which may set their own cookies on checkout pages. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.
4. Your Choices
You can change your analytics cookie preferences at any time using the button below, or by clicking the cookie icon in the bottom-right corner of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
5. Legal Basis (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, we process analytics cookies on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Essential cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interests and contractual necessity — they are strictly required to deliver the service you requested.
6. Do Not Track
We respect the DNT (Do Not Track) browser signal. When DNT is enabled, we disable PostHog analytics automatically regardless of your cookie consent choice.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology or law. When we do, we update the effective date above. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
